How this calculation works
Cubic feet = length (ft) × width (ft) × depth (ft). Cubic yards = cubic feet ÷ 27. Liters = cubic feet × 28.3168.
Example: 10×3 ft bed, 8 inches deep
Depth is 8 ÷ 12 = 0.667 ft. Volume = 10 × 3 × 0.667 = 20 cubic feet, or 0.74 cubic yards, or about 566 liters.
